Wallpaper calculator

Measure all four sides. We use the largest height and width, then add 1 inch at every edge for trimming.

This estimate separates wall allowance, seam overlap and pattern matching so you can see where every inch goes.

Step 1 of 2: Measure your wall

Wall measurements

Measure each side. Walls and ceilings can be slightly out of square.

Height on the left
Height on the right
Width at the top
Width at the bottom

Include doors and windows. Full strips and pattern alignment are still needed around openings.

How this calculator measures your wall

Enter the height at both sides and the width at both the top and bottom. The calculator uses the largest value in each direction and adds 1 inch at every edge. That leaves room to align and trim the wallpaper on a wall that is not perfectly square.

Before you order

Check the exact roll width, roll length, pattern repeat and installation instructions on the product page. Do not subtract doors or windows from a single accent wall estimate.
